The second most common mini-split installations we do are two or three-zone systems. Especially in homes that heat with a boiler, and were built without air conditioning.
Again, it depends on the length of the line sets we have to use, but we see two-zone system pricing out somewhere between $8500 and $12,000, while a three-zone system can top out at about $15,000.

The indoor unit, or air handler, comes in three styles, and our comfort consultants and installation technicians decide which to use based on your situation.
In addition to the high wall mini-split indoor unit as pictured above, there are a couple of other options.
One of the best features of a ductless mini-split installation is their future flexibility, that is, you can start off with one or two zones and add indoor units as your needs grow and change.
